Hard ferrite magnet is also called Ceramic Magnets, made of Barium and Strontium Ferrite, has been developed in the last 1950's.
Hard ferrite has an excellent resistance to demagnetization and can be magnetized before or after assembly without danger of losing any performance. There are two available types for hard ferrite, one is the isotropic magnet, molded in the absence of magnetic field and the anisotropic magnet, which has an energy density 300% higher than isotropic. Since they have nearly the same magnetic properties in all directions, so isotropic ferrite magnets can be magnetized in many different directions or in multi-poles and anisotropic of magnets can only be magnetized along a preferred direction.
Hard ferrite now are available in blocks, rings ,discs and rods and etc. they are enjoy a wide range of applications from DC motors, loudspeakers, reed switch operation, magnetic separator assemblies and general holding devices such as pot magnets. The unmagnified blocks are machined using diamond cutting machines to match customers' exact specification.
In GMAG, we offer standard and costumed Hard Ferrite Magnets according to your special requirement.
